HAPPY ENDING.

My Life 一直在等待
Why

yesterday, all my troubles seem so far away. (karaoke)

haha. wednesday, 24th was howard's birthday. there was winnie, dennis and howard's friend xinyi. well, i knew them through viwawa. can't believe i can make friends while playing bridge man. but i'm not even close to them, mere friends. so when they said they're going ktv to celebrate, i was really hesistating.

coincidentally my boss gave me off the next day. on account on his birthday, he's actually quite nice la, and winnie, i went. their favourite hangout is bugis arcade. we went to topone opposite, timing was 11pm to 5.30am. spending such a long time together in a room, i don't feel so distant. they're okay la just feeling really weird that he said he's asking his closer friends. there were only 5 of us, i thought there were more so didn't want to go.

overall i enjoyed myself. he just doesn't really express himself well. perhaps because he's malaysian, i feel closeness. this makes me miss defeng man. wish he could come over to work soon.

原来我不帅 is a comical drama serial starring JJ Lin. i have absolutely no idea how long it's been out. yesterday, i realised a lot of songs which i've never seen/heard before by him. anyway, i'm watching this short 13 episodes drama online. this rekindles my passion for him. haha, JJ rocks.

after LONG hours of streaming, i'm finally done wtih Kungfu Panda. rocks the world. i love kungfu if you don't know. and i love panda. i used to hug my sis's gigantic panda every night. and being FAT makes him so adorable and cuddleable. should have forked out time to watch in the theatres for the credits.

thinking about depressing issues saddens me. however i feel happy immediately after. because of such a rare meet up and i was touched by all your words and actions. because those are really, rare. :) thank God we're still keeping in touch.

my boss.

he is very overly flexible, funny in a sense, and full of philosophy. things that you would have never thought, yet so true.

actually i know la. but coming out from his mouth, the way it came, was really laughable.

people who are frugal will never be rich.
they only spend $5 a day so no need to be rich.
people who know how to spend, (enjoy at the same time)
are the ones who will be rich to finance their spendings.

alamak sounds like business finance.

i was working alone (not today) then the 3 of them were talking in a room, so loud i could hear and then laugh to myself. haha funny but definitely enjoyable environment. compared to a strict and no-slack environment, this no-rules place makes it more conducive to work in, at our own pace...

Han Jia Xin, i've been searching hi and low for you for 3 days. why do you sleep when you reach home. why do you not go home when i called. why did no one answered when you were home! and why did you not hear the thousand knocks and noises and the dreadful trains passing by. ...

no more ice-cream!

i can't believe there are SO many food products from China and the most unbelievable thing is that, the poison in these products were there since 2005.

meiji, dutch lady, walls, magnum etc. most disappointing thing was, i still have an unfinished box of mini poopers. the mini cornetto, i'm left with one box plus. i have no idea how much of those stuffs i've been gobbling up since that year.

some things are so unexpected. i loved meiji. and walls. :/

mummy, it's over!

well except for the fact that, mummy doesn't know hah.

YES no more studying till further notice. business finance was so difficult i really worry for the rest who might have to retake this module. on the other hand, i'm quite glad that i took the supplementary paper instead. the revision went through all the important topics that came out in section B! which is, 80marks? i didn't really concentrate on those topics though i don't know why. guess i should have trusted him more hah.

so in a sense, taking supp there's a higher chance of getting a better grade. since we all know what topics are coming out and, more than enough time to study. urgh, should have made use of that.

the opportunity cost of this paper is - 1mc with medicine ($7+) and 2 working days ($100). sad waste of money.

:) birthday surprises!

It all started with yesterday. Dhatch accompanied me to Soka association to watch the performance of ZX and JK. Then we went back to Vivo City and I bought moonkcakes with doubleeggyolks. My favourite. Actually we wanted a movie so we asked for the catalogue from ben, who happened to be working. But we haven't gotten our pay so, next time. Same for the DHL Balloon ride ya.

I have been thinking of the surprises for months! Then at 11pm I smsed gem. She called back and we arranged to meet at wen's place immediately. It was almost midnight, 2345 when she reached so I ran over and appear at her doorstep. A while later, 3 minutues to midnight, we rushed over to meibin's place. Seeing so many pair of slippers outside, and the TV was loud, I knocked on the door and saw her shocked face. Then the 4 of us were discussing where to go then her sis and bf sent us to geylang.

wen was playing cabal as expected. however, meibin was dressed and going to orchard if we had went later! we were just in time so the surprises weren't spoilt. credits to me. :D

anyway, we went to this 126 place at geylang lorong 7. my first time eating in geylang man.
so it's like, 1/4 of porridge, 2/3 of others. and you know, that porridge only enough for 2 people. i thought there was second ordering but nooooooooo. they were all full coz the drinks were in a container instead of the usual cups. nvm, next year.

what's a birthday without a cake? at such a place, we wanted to go McCafé but geylang has more and BETTER food, we bought some yellow cake and lighted candles. after buying for over a year, the candles finally has some use hoho. we lighted for a minute before going in and sang the birthday song. no matter how soft everyone can hear la. the place wasn't occupied much and it was quiet, if not for us. so they were blowing over and over again, finally the candles really went off and no more sparkles. to be safe we washed them before they kept it as momento. :)

we could have played mahjong, or night cycling. things we all want to do. though one has to rush to orchard, the other going genting to find her date, we made a promise to go ktv next week. after that, we can mahjong and night cycle. (:
most memorable surprise i've ever made, to my best friends since primary school. some feelings never will change.
coz we all live so incredibly near, everything's possible.

oh btw, the starbitez fun meal just came. long time no eat pizzahut. heh. thanks mum! my first time trying the bitez. :D

i finally start working! woot.
i can't believe it myself too.
if you knew how much i played~
time to get money rolling in.
since i had 'advanced' my cheque, i need to earn some bucks for spare use!
like, like, birthday presents? which i hadn't get anyone for -haha- uncountable.
my mum said 'OK' to pizza hut home delivery yay! it's been long since i can't wait!
i loveeeee her coz she's trying not to get pissed off with me haha. in turn, i'm already trying hard to keep mum when i'm unhappy yea. unless, exceptions? nvm, at least she's much more understanding now heh.

i love Wall-E!
when i heard the olympics on tv just now, i was constantly reminded of the soundtrack in wall-e man. that show was a CLASSIC. -loves-

i totally enjoyed work just now. it was 7pm-10pm hahahahaha i bet it's everyone's favourite timing! most importantly, the pay. well, i was overly-excited i could return to work it slipped off my mind. see how it goes. anyway, it's probably 1000/2 because of the halved work time. oh no! i need a back up plan! but NO way to ducktours. DHATCH?! let's just go sit the DHL Balloon before it disappears. :) i give up on ducks whoohoo.

relaxed

I went over to Suntec for the so-called interview for counter position. The person in-charge wasn't there but Sam explained to me the details. It turns out that there's only a fixed shift 9am to 7pm. No way I'm spending the whole of my holiday with this kind of no-life timing and only $6 an hour. I seriously wonder why they are so many applicants applying for DUCKtours.

Anyway, I was pretty relaxed. I went shopping after a long time. Adidas, Royal Sporting House, Lacoste, G2000, Gold Heart, Citigems, Levi's.

I need a pair of sneakers coz my Nike sports shoes is falling apart. I walked around RSH trying to find one. Instead, I found one sports shirt to my liking. After trying and much thinking, I bought a black Puma sports shirt for $33. Then I entered Lacoste. Even though Crocodile did not exactly copied Lacoste, personally I think Lacoste is more original. I spotted this $129 green polo shirt. And also (I can't remember) a perhaps $69 red polo shirt. It's too expensive for a shirt so I'll wait till the season comes. I've been eyeing on the formal blouse in G2000. I tried it, thought for very long, finally bought it. $69 purple with grey stripes long sleeve formal blouse hah. Still hunting for a pendant, I entered Gold heart. Found one quite simple and elegant $298 but I didn't buy. There's something missing from it. Few steps out, there stood Citigems so I looked around, and found one to my liking. I thought for really long. Roy was very sincere and approachable unlike Vincent, who was trying hard to get me to buy instead of serving me. Well, Roy cleaned my pendant and explained a lot to me. The one which caught my eye had multiple gemstones and with his 10% + original 30% discount it became $231. I liked it so I set up my mind to buy it. I was only looking around but that, was really colourful and special. I didn't had enough so I had it reserved for $50. Next I quickly went over to Levi's and tried some boot cut blue jeans. Surprisingly one fitted but there was no time more importantly no money to get it. But I shall return to get the pendant and the jeans hah.

To whoever who doesn't like Wall-E. Please, keep your opinions to yourself. It was so nice and what? Now you truly understand silence is gold? Nooo. There was no silence please. The movie was not for environmentalist too. It's partly describing what the Earth would be like in 1000 years' time and the other, everyone has love to give away whooppie! Moral of the story: if you sit in front of the computer all day long and too lazy to exercise nor work nor doing something productive, you'll become fat and can't move. You'll just roll. The animations were wonderful. :) Love it.

i hated Olympics

Lol I'm very excited right now because I saw someone familiar in Xiao Ai's blog. Last place to find this guy Gabriel Chan who is so familiar I searched him up on facebook. Indeed, he was already Ashley and Zen's mutual friend. At a community where we called it "Ninja-do". Wow, it sounds so distant to me now, whenever I think about it, think about Jie Kai.

2008 Comex IT Show was over. So was the hectic 4 days, almost unbearable but really enjoyable. It was the first time working alongside so many friends and having fun. Jonathan, Gabriel, Mary-Anne, Yu Xiang, Chang Song, Bryan, Weijie. I seem to have left out some guy, but nevermind. Well it was really funny, snatching business or helping each other out but they thought you are trying to ks. I worked closely with some of them, not excluding Wei Dong and Jia Jiun. Friend of friend's friend well, Wei Dong being 190cm tall, attracted a lot of customers probably because he was very noticeable and good-looking. What the hardest part was, I was sick.

On the last day of my paper, my headache won't go away and my forehead began to heat up. I took cab to school, to check if I could take the paper halfway then decide to just see a doctor and re-take the supp. It would be very troublesome to whoever's in-charge so I decided to be nice and off to see a doctor. I was assigned to room 3 at Tampines Polyclinic and this one lady took over half an hour. Seeing the next door's patients going in and out so many several times, it was really getting on my nerves. Anyway, I went back school for the MC, and took the Business Finance paper from Dhatchayani. I thank my friends for their utmost concern. Really appreciate all that. :)

Well, I lost my voice. If it wasn't for the job I wouldn't waste money on the medicine. It was really miserable for me. Having no voice I lost my ability to convince. So basically I didn't manage to sell a lot of the Mac and ipods but so did many others. There were too many salespersons la. Best seller must be Wei Dong, that's all I can say. I heard him convincing others, he was good with all the knowledge. Unlike us, we were really clueless till after we tried to promote. Actually I thought I could click with Jia Jiun 'cause the feeling he gave is really alike to that of Donald's. Well, I had no voice to chat. I wanted to earn more money. Overall working experience was good. The only sad thing was, no dinner at all for all those nights. I used to go to NYNY with Jordan every night after it ends but well, at least I didn't spend. I realised I've lost weight probably because of the greatly reduced intake. Light breakfast, late lunch, no dinner. Stand and work all day long 11am-10pm I'm pretty sure it'll be the same for you.

I'm waiting for results and the exact date for my graded supp paper. Never thought I would get this, chance. I'm gonna work with Yin How and try the Belgian Chocolate waffle at Golden Mile Complex hawker centre and see if it was the same as the one at Tampines. Friday, I shall eat my heart out. Seriously I don't believe in dieting, it's such a waste to say 'no' to the food.

I want to swim. I want to try the Chocolate buffet at Fullerton hotel. After I've earned some cold hard cash I guess. Somehow I feel I'm not earning enough. There's so much to spend on.
Who wants to swim with me, JX?
Anyone fancy a Chocolate buffet? :) FEEL FREE TO ASK ME I VERY FREE. the most take leave.

10 things i hate Olympics for
no pushing daisies
messy programmes schedule
no taekwondo on ch5/U at night
no warnings about not showing the tv programmes
complicate matters led us to thinking our shows are not aired but they were
looooooong celebration to the ending was really time wasting
even lesser choice of tv programmes
irritating commercials keep repeating like the event schedule
and how Singapore won a Gold medal after 60years
MOST IMPORTANTLY: the commendators were irritating repeating what we already HEARD/SAW/KNOW. stupid. they were totally redundant i have no idea why Singapore channel U need them.
